Student caught speeding on Renfrewshire road was also under influence of cannabis

A young man has been fined and banned from driving after being caught driving his mum’s Audi while under the influence of drugs.

Omar Yasin, 20, had been taking cannabis on February 26, last year when police stopped him for speeding in his mum’s Audi A3 on Renfrew’s Kings Inch Road.

And although the blue Audi didn’t belong to Business Management student, Yasin, police noted the front two tyres didn’t meet legal requirements.
