When Adam Collard entered the Love Island for the second time this summer, there was a ripple of excitement around the villa as girls instantly recognised the 6ft 4in hunk.
The lothario left a trail of broken hearts (four to be exact) during his first summer in the villa when he was also accused of gaslighting Rosie Williams.
But this time, the heartbreaker earnestly told Welsh stunner Paige Thorne that he had changed during his four years since first appearing on the show.
But it hasn’t been long before Adam got back to his old tricks and last week he was caught with his arms around another girl on a night out.
Meanwhile, rumours of a split have circulated while Paige has kept quiet about her man’s alleged indiscretions.
Now Annie, 18, a student from Chester has spoken exclusively to Mirror about how she bumped into the ladies man at the end of a night out in McDonald's.
“We ordered our food and we just stepped to the side and then heard girls screaming, 'Oh my god, it's Adam Collard,’” Annie tells us.
“Then he came over to my friendship group for a chat.
“We were just being normal basically because we didn't need photos of him like we weren't bothered.”
Annie’s chilled approach to the reality star clearly stood out as a long line of girls queued up to get their photo taken with him during a personal appearance at a club earlier that night.
“He had obviously had a few drinks or something and a random girl wanted to take a picture with him. And he was like, 'No, this is my best friend," and pointed at me,” she said.
“Obviously he didn't know me and we just laughed at that point.
“He ended up putting his arm around me as we chatted some more but there was nothing happening in the chat, it was so innocent, there was literally nothing wrong.”
But unfortunately for the teen, the exchange was filmed by another reveller and quickly went viral on TikTok.
Now Annie is keen to set the record straight after being trolled by Love Island fans concerned for his girlfriend Paige.
“It wasn't like he had flirted and I was egging him on and he was flirting back, it was nothing like that, how people have described,” she says.
Annie has now been hounded by trolls blaming her for his rumoured split from Paige.
She explains: “Everyone has been commenting like, 'Oh my god, he has a girlfriend. Why did you do that?'
“But I didn't make him put his arm around me like he did it to me and we were just chatting and I laughed it off.
“I don't know Paige but whatever he was doing, it wasn't bad. So I didn't feel like, ‘Oh god like he's got a girlfriend.’”
Mirror has contacted Adam and Paige's representatives for comment.
