Stuart Pearce admits a Rangers vs West Ham Europa League Final would be the dream outcome for British football.
But the Hammers assistant cautioned that an all-UK showpiece remains some way off yet.
Rangers face RB Leipzig for a place in May's final while West Ham square off with Eintracht Frankfurt in the other last four showdown.
Pearce revealed he's been enthralled by "scintillating" nights at Ibrox as Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side overcame Borussia Dortmund, Red Star Belgrade and Braga in a dramatic knockout stage run.
But while David Moyes ' right hand man believes his side have done just as well to reach the semi-finals, he suspects both sides "have their hands full" if they want to go all the way to Seville.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Pearce ducked pundit Ally McCoist's cheeky request to be sorted out with tickets for the final as he delivered his verdict on Thursday's first-leg clashes.
Pearce said: "Totally no chance on the ticket front, let's just address that straight away!
"It would be brilliant - an England-Scotland final - but, listen, that's so far down the line.
"Rangers have done absolutely brilliantly to get to where they have, and I think we have as a team.
"Rangers' performance and some of those nights at Ibrox have been absolutely scintillating.
"I'll have my fingers crossed they go all the way, that's for sure. If that is the case, it'll be brilliant but I think both of us have our hands full in the semis."
