The Indiana Pacers have finally snapped a 13-game losing streak, giving coach Rick Carlisle two reasons to celebrate after bringing up his 1000th NBA coaching victory.
With Australian young gun Johnny Furphy again starting, the Pacers got the better of the Hornets 114-112 on Thursday night (local time) in Charlotte to bank their first victory in a month.
Pascal Siakam scored 18 of his 30 points in the first half and hit the winning shot, scoring on a go-ahead drive with 11.5 seconds left.
