Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova was disqualified from a world record attempt after her steps were judged illegal.
She was eliminated from the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two challenge, which pits some of the dancers against one another in a series of tasks. This year's leaderboard top three included Dianne Buswell, Amy Dowden and two-time reigning champ Nadiya Bychkova.
Their final task saw the professionals go head-to-head to deliver the most back Charleston kick steps, which would also give them a place in the Guinness World Records. Last year, Nadiya recorded 38 pat-a-cakes in a space of 30 seconds and landed herself in the record books.

This year she set out to gain another record but a shocking disqualification left her and her fellow competitors speechless after all of Nadiya's kicks were declared illegal, reports the Liverpool Echo. Host Rylan delivered the news to the three stars, confirming that Nadiya, who performed 25 kicks, was disqualified for not correctly landing her steps.
Disappointed, she laughed the elimination off before cheering on her fellow dancers. It was Amy who was victorious in this year's challenge. After Rylan shared the results, Amy said: "I can't believe it," as she was handed a Guinness World Record certificate.
