A Strictly Come Dancing star has shared a life update following her “awful” breast cancer diagnosis six months ago.
Dr Punam Krishan, who appeared on the competition in 2024, told her Instagram followers last month after learning the news in August.
Posting on Instagram on Monday (24 February), the 42-year-old recalled the moment that she learnt that she had cancer.
“As someone who wants to know what tomorrow looks like… not having any control over my future was one of the hardest things to get my head around.”
She said that six months on, she lives her life very differently. “I don't try to micromanage everything because the real truth is that we don't actually know what is round the corner for us,” she said, describing her new approach as liberating.
