Plenty of Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left upset with the judges after learning that a 'fan favourite' had left the show, following confusion when different results 'leaked' online late on Saturday night.
After being given a reprieve last week when there was no elimination from the BBC show, this year's Strictly line-up were dancing to impress both the judges and viewers this weekend, hoping to gain high scores and plenty of votes to keep them out of danger.
Each couple' week one and week two scores were combined for the leaderboard which was revealed at the end of Saturday's live show. After two fantastic performances, CBBC star Molly Rainford led the standings, with Will Mellor in second, despite his score taking a dive in week two, after a barnstorming debut seven days earlier.
At the other end of the table, Bros icon Matt Goss found himself at the bottom of the pack, with Tony Adams also way down the standings. In the closing moments of Saturday's live show, host Claudia Winkleman told viewers they had until 9.10pm to get their votes in, once again making it abundantly clear that the results are filmed on Saturday night and aren't as live as they seem on Sunday's results show.
The fact that Strictly 's results are pre-recorded is the worst kept secret in TV and for many years now, the fact that they are actually filmed on Saturday night, means that spoilers have published the results before they are officially made public. There was plenty of interest in the first leak of Strictly 2022 after credits rolled on the live show, with many fans hovering on Twitter waiting for the spoiler to land.
As many as four different Twitter accounts purported to know the results, with different combinations of bottom twos, including one that featured a big favourite in danger. And then, when the 'official' one leaked in the early hours of Sunday, it certainly ruffled a few feathers.
One fan suggested that there 'must have been a mistake' for the judges to have made the decision they did, with a second replying: "Oh dear silly judges," and another tweeting: "Ahh man. Poor pro dancer."
