Professional dancer Giovanni and EastEnders actress Rose, from Manchester, were pictured arm in arm.
The close bond between the pair, who made history together on the long-running show, was clear to see.
Rose was the show's first deaf contestant and they moved the nation to tears during the 2021 series when they included a powerful 10 second silence to their routine to Symphony by Clean Bandit featuring Zara Larsson.
She called Giovanni 'the most wonderful human ever' after their close-fought contest with former Bake Off winner John Whaite and his pro dance partner Johannes Radebe who also made history as Strictly's first all-male pairing.
After their win the star said: "Winning the Glitterball is the best gift I could ever give to Giovanni because he really deserves it.
"I am beyond proud of us. I never thought I would leave Strictly with a best friend for life, thank you Gio."
Giovanni recently made fans cry again with a new addition to his tattoo collection with a tribute to their shared victory.
He shared a snap on his Instagram Stories of the inking which features the famous Glitterball trophy complete with the date the pair won the series.
The sparkling Glitterball has the letters SCD in the middle and December 18 2021 in numerical form.
And it was posted with a soundtrack of We Are the Champions by Queen as he tagged in Rose.
Delighted fans responded with love hearts and crying emojis.
Strictly stars will arrive in Manchester on January 29 for two shows at the AO Arena.
The celebrities also joining Rose on the tour are Sara Davies, John Whaite, Tilly Ramsay, Rhys Stephenson, and two Strictly 2020 alumni Max George and Maisie Smith.
The tour will also be hosted by the show's former professional dancer turned It Takes Two host Janette Manrara.
