Strictly's major schedule change for World Cup revealed - Show firsts and final revealed

The World Cup has forced BBC bosses into a huge scheduling re-think with Strictly Come Dancing about to create history with a number of live shows being shelved on Saturday nights and moved to other days.

Execs at the Beeb have been working to eliminate all possible clashes with their flagship show and the sporting event - which is being held in the winter for the first time ever.

The Mirror understand this year's glitzy final will be held on Saturday December 17 but fans will have to get used to chopping and changing in the build up.
