Kym Marsh is said to have suffered a 'panic attack' in Strictly rehearsals, forcing producers to call a halt to proceedings as pressure mounts on the BBC show.
Former Hear'say sta r Kym suffered a massive blow to her confidence when her and professional partner Graziano Di Prima landed in the dance off a few weeks ago, despite finishing near the top of the leaderboard with their airline inspired samba. Strictly fans were just as shocked as Kym that she dropped into the bottom two, staying in the competition as the judges sent Matt Goss home.
Kym and Graziano have managed to escape the 'middle of the leaderboard curse' since then, although the Cry singer has admitted to having a 'meltdown' backstage, after claiming on camera that she'd had a 'dodgy day' behind the scenes, following her and Graziano's Quickstep to end the BBC 100th Birthday special.
And it's being reported that Kym had a panic attack during a rehearsal before the October 21 episode, with Strictly bosses taking the decision to pause things after being concerned for her.
An onlooker told The Sun : “She was very upset she just couldn’t stop crying and hyperventilating. In the end, there was no choice but to stop rehearsals.”
Kym appeared to Kym elaborate on what happened when she and Graziano appeared on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two last week.. Speaking to presenter Janette Manrara, she said: "We had so much fun, after having a day of a bit of a meltdown, I just got on there and thought, do you know what, let's just have fun? And we did, we just went out and just enjoyed ourselves."
This Saturday, Kym and Graziano are set to perform an Argentine Tango to John Powell's Assassin's Tango, as some bookies tip Ellie Taylor to go, despite the fact she topped the leaderboard last week.
