A Strictly Come Dancing professional has revealed how his romance with a co-star started after being quizzed on Loose Women. Strictly star Kai Widdrington gave in when questioned by the Loose Women panel on Friday, January 6, about his romance with fellow pro Nadiya Bychkova, revealing the start of his 'secret' and admitting he made the first move.
Kai joined Strictly as a professional dancer last year and, as reported by Chronicle Live, quickly became a fan favourite and got all the way to the final with his first-ever celeb partner, TV host Aj Odudu. But unfortunately, AJ was injured in rehearsals, forcing the pair to pull out of the final and have to watch from the sidelines as Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice won the Glitterball trophy.
Kai was back in action in the Strictly ballroom last year, although was out much sooner than the year before, as he and Loose Women host Kaye Adams were the first couple to be eliminated from the most recent series. Nadiya, who joined the BBC show in 2017, also had an early exit alongside pop icon Matt Goss, but both dancers' upset soon turned to excitement as they announced their own nationwide tour.
