Helen Skelton sent a heartwarming message of support to friend and former Strictly Come Dancing partner Gorka Marquez ahead of the opening night of his dance show.
Gorka is starring alongside Strictly co-star Karen Hauer in the dance theatre spectacular Firedance, which kicked off its new UK tour on Thursday. And after remaining close pals following their time on Strictly, Helen was quick to send a message to Gorka to wish him luck for the show.
"What a privilege to say I shared more than one dance with @gorka_marquez and more than one gin and tonic with @karenhauer," Helen wrote on her Instagram Story. "Wishing you the most fun and the loudest crowd."

She added: "Can't wait to see Firedance when I'm back. Two of the best in the business."
Gorka's fiancée Gemma Atkinson announced the happy news last month that the pair are expecting a baby boy. Gorka and former Hollyoaks star Gemma welcomed their first child, daughter Mia, back in 2019, after meeting on the 2017 series of Strictly.
Meanwhile, Helen is currently enjoying the sunshine with her kids in the Canary Islands, after she and dance partner Kai Widdrington were crowned champions of the Strictly live tour earlier this month. After being beaten to the Glitterball trophy by Hamza and Jowita in the series, Helen won an incredible 13 shows on the tour including all three in Newcastle.
While he turned down the live tour to spend "important quality time" with his family before baby number two arrives, Gorka is set to reunite with his Strictly co-stars later this year as he joins the line-up of the Strictly Professionals tour. He will be joined by reigning champion Jowita Przystal, Vito Coppola, Carlos Gu, Dianne Buswell, Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Luba Mushtuk and Nancy Xu.
