Helen Skelton looks to have very publicly questioned the Strictly Come Dancing result, with a very telling response on Twitter.
The dust has now settled on another series of the hit BBC show, after Helen and pro partner Gorka Marquez lost out on the Glitterball trophy to newly crowned champions Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal in the final, which also featured Fleur East and Vito Coppola, the highest scorers on the night and Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.
Hamza and Jowita were the red hot favourites with bookies going into the Strictly finale, having led the odds for well over a month and, like Helen and Gorka, never dropping into the bottom two. However, the 2022 winners were actually bottom couple on the leaderboard after all four performed three dances on Saturday night

They were seven points behind Fleur and Vito, who ended proceedings with a near perfect score of 119 out of a possible 120 and, like many viewers, who claimed that the former X Factor runner-up was 'robbed' of another TV talent show victory, Helen appears to agree that Fleur should have won.
And the evidence for that opinion is that she liked a tweet made by former Strictly pro Robin Windsor which made that point. The post, which showed up in Helen's likes read: "Based on tonight Fleur and Vito should take home that mirror ball."
Former Blue Peter host Helen was among over 1,200 people to like Robin's tweet, with many agreeing with him in the comments thread below. Hitting out at the final result, one Strictly fan responded: "@FleurEast & Vito got 12 votes from me... All 3 of their dances were perfect. I don't understand how the Best on the night didn't win??!. Is it becoming like some other shows & a popularity contest, Rather than people voting for the best dancer i wonder?"
A second replied: "Totally agree been a big fan of Hamza all the way but the best dancer on the night was Fleur,|" with another writing: "Totally agree. They were the better couple..."
