Helen Skelton has revealed how she is 'motivated' every day by a sweet gesture from Strictly Come Dancing pro partner Gorka Marquez.
Having never been in the dreaded dance-off yet, odds on Helen and Gorka making the final and even winning the show are shortening all the time, right as they continue to celebrate their highest score of the series on Saturday night. Last weekend's live show went like a dream for the couple, when they were awarded a massive 37 out of 40 for their jive to Janelle Monae's Tightrope, putting them joint second on the leaderboard, just a point from top of the table.
And, after finding out they were through to another week during the Strictly results show, Helen and Gorka are now preparing for another Latin routine in time, for the seventh live show of the new series, which is now just a few weeks away. On Saturday night, Helen and Gorka will dance a salsa to Despacito, something Gorka got very excited about when the song was revealed by host Claudia Winkleman.

And now Helen, who has been battling a lack of self confidence during her time in Strictly, has spoken out on just how much of a support Gorka has been behind the scenes. Speaking to The Sun, the ex Blue Peter presenter said: "He brings me a coffee and a pastry every morning because I’m losing so much weight, training constantly and doing the show.”
She added: “He writes on my coffee cup, ‘You’re brilliant, you’ve got this’, because he knows I’d be mortified and embarrassed if he did it to my face.”
Reacting to their performance and scores from Saturday, Gorka took to Instagram to post: "Wow last night was amazing!!! 10?
"We both were so excited about this dance that wanted to do it well but most important we wanted to enjoy it and make you guys enjoy it. I had the best time in @bbcstrictly floor and I couldn’t be more proud of you @helenskelton."
