Hamza Yassin has often been praised for being light on his feet - and the BBC cameraman has now said that being fitter has left his feet no longer aching him and feeling "so much happier and healthier".
The Strictly finalist, 32, has lost 13 kilos - over a stone and a half - and five inches around his waist after his intense weekly training with pro partner Jowita Przystał.
Hamza is the bookies favourite to win this evening despite being relatively unknown in comparison to the rest of the celebrities taking part this year.
While he's wowed with a number of incredible dances every week - topping the leaderboard five weeks out of 11 - he has charmed the public with his sweet, easy-going personality.
Opening up ahead of performing three dances this evening, he spoke about how his fitness transformation.
"I've lost nearly 13 kilos, so over a stone and a half," he said. "My feet are not achy anymore, I'm seeing body parts that are being defined , I'm so much happier, fitter and healthier and I hope I can keep this going, if I can, but I'm certainly healthier.
"I've lost four or five inches across my waist. It's just nuts. This suit was tailor-made at the beginning and now I'm wearing a belt to tighten everything up. It's an amazing feeling."
Speaking about what it would be like to win the show, Hamza said: "For me, it will come down to sharing the stage with this absolutely amazing woman, knowing what she has been through in her life and what I've done in my lifetime, it would just be a dream come true. It would be like the icing on the cake, Christmas, Easter all mixed together.
"I can't give her anything in life that she can't get herself. The only thing that I can do my best is on the dancefloor and hopefully lift that Glitterball trophy."
Hamza also admitted that his main struggle every week has been his lack of confidence.
"I'm nervous [because] I didn't think I'd be here," he said. "I thought week one - get going! I didn't think I could dance, I still don't think I could dance."
"This is my problem every week," Jowita Przystał jumped in to say. "I will tell him, 'Oh, you're amazing' and then we go out on the night and he performs and we're standing an listening to the judges comments and then he says, 'Oh my gosh, Jowita, you were actually right! You told me I did it right!' and I was like, 'Yes, I did!'"
