Strictly Come Dancing's Graziano Di Prima's wife Giada has shared the sweet story behind their wedding venue.
The couple became husband and wife in the grounds of a stunning Sicilian 14th-century castle earlier this month.
The professional dancer, 32, said how Graziano used to take her to the castle on his Vespa before he starred in the BBC show and would share their dreams of having enough money to get married there one day.
“Graziano used to bring me to the castle gate when we first started dating and he didn’t have a car, only a Vespa,” she told OK! Magazine.
Giada, who is from Schiavon in the north of Italy, said: "I used to reach my hand inside the gate to see if we could get into the castle but it was always locked.
"We never imagined then that we’d have the money to rent it for our wedding. Sicily was the perfect location to remind us of how it all began," she added.
The stunning dancer also wore two wedding dresses on her big day, one with a beautiful fishtail detail and dainty straps.
The newlyweds exchanged vows at his local church Basilica della Madonna della Catena.
In true Italian style, they threw a pizza party for their 200 guests to enjoy at the reception.
When the lovebirds first started dating Graziano would travel for 15 hours on the bus to see her.
She said after Graziano first stepped onto the show, he would shower her with flowers and invited her to events.
They met after they were partnered on a TV show in 2014 and Italian dancer said that he knew that Giada was The One instantly.
The couple finally got married two years after he popped the question as they had to postpone the wedding due to Covid.
Giada said that she tried on 15 wedding dresses before settling on the one that she walked down the aisle in.
She ended up choosing a "princess" gown, while Graziano wore a black three-piece suit.
