BBC viewers have been left feeling 'emotional' after seeing Giovani Pernice reunite with a former Strictly Come Dancing co-star on his new show with Anton Du Beke.
After it was announced by the broadcaster last year and had its premiere in London a few months ago, the duo's travel series Adventures in Sicily finally launched on BBC One on Tuesday night, with every episode also made available to watch as a boxset on iPlayer.
The new programme sees former champion Giovanni and Strictly judge Anton embark on a tour of Giovanni's homeland, with a teaser telling fans to expect 'breathtaking sights, bromance and sublime Sicilian cuisine - and maybe even a tango or two.'

Millions tuned into the first episode as it went out in the prime 9pm slot and, having watched the credits roll, plenty of viewers couldn't resist watching the remaining parts, the second of which sees Giovanni reunited with Rose Ayling-Ellis, the ex EastEnders actress who he won the Glitterball trophy with in December 2021.
Strictly fans were blown away by the couple's close bond and amazing performances, so were left rather teary eyed at seeing Rose jot off to Italy to play a part in Giovanni's new TV venture.
Rose's arrival was teased at the end of episode one, with her being billed as 'a very special guest' as she flew in by helicopter. And even the very brief clip, which saw Giovanni and Rose share a hug, was enough to set some viewers off.
Taking to Twitter, one reacted: "Oh how I’ve missed rose and Giovanni love their friendship," adding a teary eyed emoji to get their points across as a second tweeted: "Giovanni and Anton are amazing together and Rose makes it that extra bit special We need more of this!!"
