Ellie Taylor had Strictly Come Dancing viewers hastily rewinding their TVs on Saturday night as she was overheard apologising to pro partner Johannes Radebe as the music stopped in Blackpool.
While Ellie and Johannes topped the leaederboard in Halloween Week with their routine to Hocus Pocus' anthem I Put A Spell On You, they have often been tipped to leave by bookies, defying the Strictly elimination odds week after week, as they have yet to even land in the bottom two as viewers have continued to back them.
Both Ellie and Johannes were absolutely delighted at the prospect of getting to dance in the iconic Tower Ballroom in Blackpool as the BBC show returned to the 'Vegas of the North' for the first time in three years. They aimed to impress the judges with an American Smooth to Cilla Black classic You're My World. Ellie looked stunning in a ballgown as she swept across the floor of the world famous venue, however, as the routine came to an end and the song finished, Ellie was overheard giving a very clear apology to Johannes, telling him: "Oh my god, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
