Strictly Come Dancing will celebrate 100 years of the BBC with routines inspired by iconic programmes from the channel.

The dancers will be moving and grooving to the likes of the Casualty theme song as well as the Grange Hill theme song.

Confirming the exciting news on Twitter, Strictly's official page wrote: "This Saturday we will celebrate #BBC100 with routines inspired by some iconic @BBC programming.

"We can't wait to see our couples, Dave Arch and his band bring these BBC bangers to the #Strictly dance floor! Let's do it."

Molly Rainford and her professional dance partner Carlos Gu will be showing off their moves to the theme from Grange Hill.

The BBC was founded on October 18, 1922.

It comes after Matt Goss was eliminated from the show during the third week of the competition.

Matt had found himself at the bottom of the judges' leaderboard on Saturday night, and his performance was praised slightly, but also met with critique.

Following the public vote, Kym also found herself in the bottom two alongside Matt and was forced to dance again with her pro partner Graziano, while Matt and dance partner Nadiya had to do the same.

As it came down to the judges' decision, they voted unanimously to save Kym and Graziano over Matt and Nadiya - a decision that moved the singer to tears as he became the third celebrity contestant to leave the dancefloor for good.

Head judge Shirley Ballas said: "I also felt that both couples were 100% committed, spot on performances today. But the couple with a little bit more technical skill was Kym and Graziano and that’s who I’d save."
