Strictly Come Dancing is almost back on our TV screens and the popular BBC One show's judges, professional dancers and 15 contestants have now been revealed. Amongst this year's line-up is Blue Peter and Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton, whose appearance was confirmed on Saturday, August 13.
With Strictly's launch show set to be filmed on Wednesday, September 7, viewers are dying to know which professional dancers the celebrities will be partnered up with. Over the weekend, the TV presenter, 39, decided to follow Neil Jones - the only dancer from the cast. He then returned the favour. This mutual appreciation could hint that the pair will be taking to the dancefloor together.

On being announced as part of Strictly 2022's line-up, Helen said: “I’m really excited to get stuck into a fun adventure. My family and friends have always loved the show and can’t wait for me to get started.”
Speaking on BBC Radio 2 at the weekend, she revealed that she only agreed to do the show recently but said she was keen to sign up after competing in the Christmas special in 2012. "Who gets to go to work and made to look a bit like Beyoncé and have a fun time?
"So I just thought, this is madness to not do it, of course I should do it. It'll be so much fun."
Helen started her TV career in children’s television, presenting Newsround and Blue Peter on the BBC. Whilst presenting on Blue Peter for five years she took on some incredible challenges, including completing the Namibia Ultra Marathon, cycling to the South Pole and kayaking over 2018 miles down the Amazon River.
Since then, she has presented shows across various channels, including Countryfile, several major sporting events for BBC Sport, ITV’s Lorraine, BT Sport’s FA Women’s Super League football matches, Channel 4’s Rugby league Super league coverage and Inside The Superbrands in addition to the highly successful On The Farm series for Channel 5 and being a regular on ITV Tonight.
