Eagle-eyed Strictly fans spotted Helen Skelton giving a strong message to her ex-husband Richie Myler on the show last night as she performed her "revenge" dance.
The Countryfile host, 39, was even applauded by Gorka Marquez's fiancée Gemma Atkinson for giving the middle finger in her performance to Cabaret's Mein Herr in Musicals Week.
Helen made the rude gesture as the lyrics went: "Bye bye mein liber herr, it was a a fine affair, but now it's over" - seemingly in reference to the turbulent breakdown of her marriage.
Helen has had a tough year since splitting up with rugby player Richie, who is now expecting a baby with his partner, Stephanie Thirkill.
As the presenter spun around, looking gorgeous in a black flapper dress, she subtly rubbed her middle finger along her cheek - much to Gemma's delight.
Gorka's fiancée Gemma, 38, shared a clip of the star on Instagram - supporting her sassiness.
Posting the clip, the mum-of-one wrote: "It was the subtle middle finger for me," followed by a laughing emoji.
Strictly Come Dancing fans were blown away after Helen 's fiery performance “stole the show” in Friday’s quarter final.
The former Blue Peter presenter topped the leaderboard with Gorka and received a standing ovation for her plucky performance - which fans labelled the ‘revenge’ dance.
Alongside a picture of Princess Diana in her infamous revenge dress, one fan tweeted: “The parallels. Oozing confidence. Completely owning herself. HELEN!”
Another fan said: "Helen and Gorka WOW! And we all got the not so hidden message to her ex. Helen to win!"
While another wrote: "Helen has good will on her side, she's sent a clear message to her ex Husband tonight in her Dance and is finally more confident after weeks of holding back confidence/performance wise IMO."
Last week, the TV presenter opened up about her time on the BBC One ballroom show, after she broke down in tears before her performance on Sunday.
The stunning star told viewers she felt like a ‘different person’ on the dance floor following a difficult few months.
During an appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, Helen admitted it had been an ‘emotional few months’ in her life.
With tears in her eyes, she said: “I came into this and I underestimated it, because I thought, ‘It’s dancing and nice dresses and interesting people’.
“But it’s weird, it's so much more than that. It makes you ask questions of yourself that you don’t ask.
“I’m a 39-year-old woman with three kids and you do your job and your relationships and your house and your career and all of that – and you don’t really just challenge yourself and find joy in yourself. So it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions that I didn't expect.”
The Countryfile presenter and her three children have moved back in with her parents, in Cumbria, following her split with her husband of eight years.
The pair, who had lived in Leeds, announced their break-up in April, just four months after the birth of their third child, Elsie Kate.
The TV presenter and rugby player also share sons Ernie, seven, and Louis, five.
