Tyler's black and white snap showed him sitting in a waiting room as he gave a shout out to the accident and emergency team at St George's Hospital in Tooting, South London.

Reassuring his fans, the 26-year-old penned on top of the image: "Everything's cool".

He continued: "But wanna shout out to the NHSm" followed by a blue heart emoji. "especially the paramedic & AE team @stgeorgeshospitalcharity". [sic]

"Everything is a-OK. It weren't me, it's family stuff but, yeah, thank you all for checking in."

Throwing the peace sign up to the camera, Tyler ended the video with: "The vibes have to run".

The Mirror has contacted Tyler's representatives and the BBC for comment.

It comes just a week after Tyler confirmed he was taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

As he posted a video of his Strictly unveiling on his Instagram page, the radio DJ wrote in the caption: "So this is happening feels surreal, but I am SO excited for what’s to come and to be joining the @bbcstrictly family gimme them sequins and let me cut some shapes.

"Thankyou for your support in advance me and my asthma pump appreciate it".

As news broke of Tyler's upcoming place on Strictly, he was flooded with support from his pals and fans.

This year's celebrity lineup was announced earlier this month (BBC)

Kisstory presenter Freddie Smith tweeted: "the british public are gonna fall in love with @TylerWestt - about a week in to being at @KissFMUK HQ i told him he was the future. the nicest bloke ever. b****y gorgeous. and he can move!

"my money is on you for the final bro!!!"

Kaye Adams vowed against Strictly Come Dancing a month before she was confirmed to be taking part (Unknown)

Tyler joins a number of celebrities competing for the Glitterball trophy this year including Kym Marsh, Will Mellor and Kaye Adams.

Loose Women star Kaye previously vowed against doing Strictly Come Dancing.

A month before she was announced as part of this year's lineup for the BBC programme, Kaye told the Sunday Mirror: "I’m quite tempted by I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! because I think I’d be good at being stoical.

"I’d prefer that to Strictly. A huge part of me would be tempted to do it but a huge part of me is just too uptight to pull it off. I couldn’t handle the sexy stuff. The thought of my own face contorting into an Argentine tango pout would wake me up in the middle of the night and give me a heart attack. The poor soul who got me as their partner would need therapy!"
