Strictly Come Dancing contestant Kym Marsh was struck down by a bug just hours after wowing judges and fans of the show with a steamy Argentine Tango. The actress-turned-television presenter and pro partner Graziano Di Prima received 37 points from the judges, leaving them joint second on the leaderboard.
But the former Coronation Street actress called into her show, BBC Morning Live, on Monday, November 7 and revealed that on Sunday she picked up a bug that had left her feeling so ill she had to call on the programme's doctor for advice.
She told fellow presenter Gethin Jones: "I am feeling alright. I must have caught a bug off one of the children. I got it on Sunday on the train home, so that was nice. I will pull myself through. You have to get out there and do it (dancing) no matter what, even if you have bits dropping off. I am hoping it is a 24 hour thing."

Talking about getting her first score of 10 in the show, Kym said: "We are absolutely delighted. We really felt good about this dance and we were really looking forward to getting out there and doing it. To get those points and those comments, it was just unbelievable. I don't think we breathed for about 20 seconds afterwards."
Kym's high scores come after she broke her silence after suffering major panic attacks backstage. Gethin Jones wished his co-presenter well, saying: "Good luck this week with the training, and get better soon."
