Gorka Marquez's future on BBC Strictly Come Dancing dominated headlines after the pro dancer missed out on victory in the final once again last series with dance partner Helen Skelton. Gorka has been the talk of Strictly fans since narrowly missing out on the big win last year.
Fans described him as looking 'gutted' after being captured on camera following Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal's 2022 Glitter Ball trophy win. The pro dancer, who is engaged for former Strictly contestant and actress Gemma Atkinson, has made it to three finals since joining the show in 2016 and many began to wonder if his apparent frustration at missing out on yet another title might prompt his departure from the popular BBC show.

However, Gorka, 32, whose previous celeb dance partners include Alexandra Burke, Katie Piper and Maisie Smith, has now been confirmed as returning for the 2023 series, ending speculation that he was ready to quit the series, as Chronicle Live reports.
However, one dancer who won't be back is Cameron Lombard. Cameron, while never given a celebrity partner, has been part of the Strictly team for a number of years; dancing in the professional group numbers and on the live tours, but won't be back this year.
Confirming his exit, a BBC spokesperson said: "Cameron is a fantastic performer and we have loved working with him for the past two years on Strictly.
"He is currently pursuing other opportunities but will always be part of the family and our door will always be open to him in the future."
