A live segment of Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing (October 15) was brought to a halt by Gorka Marquez. He told Helen Skelton to 'believe in herself', addressing the 'difficult time' she's been having.
Helen has been low on confidence during her time on the BBC show, in training and in the lead up to the first live show last month, and in the rehearsals. Gorka and Helen's Strictly scores have been improving - and in this weekend's show they performed a paso doble in a bid to keep that trend going, reports Chronicle Live.
After receiving their comments from the judges, the couple joined host Claudia Winkleman and it was then that Gorka took the opportunity to address the confidence issues Helen has been having. Just as Helen was paying tribute to her mum and dad, Gorka stepped in and, with his arm around her, the former finalist said: "Can I just say something? I know you've been having a difficult time and you've been... you may feel like you're not beautiful or good enough or anything, but, if you don't believe in yourself, I believe in you; everybody here believes in you."
