Strictly Come Dancing's Fleur 'struggles to contain emotions', says body language expert

Strictly Come Dancing' s Fluer East is struggling to contain her emotions while on the show - especially towards Craig Revel Horwood - according to a body language expert. Darren Stanton has said that, despite her exploding onto the dancefloor, she finds it difficult to find an equilibrium at times.

Fleur found herself in the dance-off again on Sunday, but managed to escape being booted off the hot BBC programme, despite slipping and falling backwards.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren added: "Fleur has literally exploded on the dancefloor from day one with magnificent power and energy. Her and Vito have been a very strong couple from the beginning and have grown a strong rapport over the course of the show.

Fleur East is competing on the show with professional dancer, Vito Coppola (BBC)

"However, I do believe Fleur struggles to contain her emotions at times and finds it difficult to find an equilibrium. While she received mainly positive feedback, Craig delivered her some critical points. We saw a couple of interesting gestures from Fleur as he critiqued her. One was a chin thrust, which is a sign of dominance designed to intimidate.

"This was a clear sign that Fluer was not happy with Craig’s comments. She was also seen grinding her teeth, which is a sign of nervousness, and showed some brief microexpressions of anger at Craig.

"Only time will tell if she can hold it together and follow the advice of the judges to make it all the way through to the final. I do not believe Fleur could be the winner of the competition, but hopefully she can pull things back over the coming weeks."
