Strictly Come Dancing live tour confirms first three stars including Tyler West and Will Mellor

While there is still three weeks to go until the end of the new series, the first three celebrities have already been confirmed for the show's annual tour and one is Ty6ler West, in the aftermath of his controversial exit from the ballroom.

After all the excitement of Blackpool last week, the seven remaining couples are back in the BBC ballroom on Saturday night when they aim to earn themselves a place in this year's quarter final. The current favourite to win the Strictly Glitterball trophy this time round is Hamza Yassin, with the wildlife photographer still top of the bookies odds, with just four shows left now.

Once the confetti has settled on this year's Strictly final, there is something else for fans to look forward to when the cast hit the road for the arena tour. Last year every show of the show, bar one, was won by 2021 champions Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice. The only performance that the couple didn't win was opening night in Newcastle, when the North East's own Sara Davies triumphed alongside pro partner Aljaz Škorjanec.

The Strictly arena tour is back at the Utliita Arena in Newcastle on February 1 and 2, with tickets available online from Ticketmaster. And the identity of the first three celebs on the tour line-up have now been confirmed with Tyler joined by Will Mellor, who is still in the running for victory this year and Ellie Simmonds, who made an emotional exit from the ballroom a few weeks ago.

They will be joined on tour by Strictly TV judges S hirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke, who is appearing on the arena tour for the first time.

Tyler being confirmed for the Strictly tour comes after viewers and former Strictly pro James Jordan claimed he and pro partner Dianne Buswell were "robbed," after they were sent home following a dance-off with Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.

In the immediate aftermath of the results show, which ended with Dianne in tears, James tweeted: "ROBBED !!! Wrong couple saved And that’s nothing against Molly as I’ve always head her back when she’s been in the dance off before. And I think she’s great However - Tyler and Dianne were far superior in that dance off. I will ALWAYS speak the truth." HE then added: "100% NO QUESTION TYLER AND DIANE WERE BETTER Even with his small mistake - and it’s not up for discussion or an opinion ITS A FACT."
