The autumn brings the return of one very popular programme. Strictly Come Dancing is back and this year the show will be returning to the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Stars including Helen Skeleton, who you can read more about here, and Fleur East have been announced among the 2022 contestants. You can read the full line-up here.
Now the BBC has confirmed the show will be heading back to the iconic location of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom on Saturday, November 19.

There will also be a live studio audience for 2022 and you can register for tickets here. You can apply for a maximum of one pair of tickets per show. You can apply for as many dates as you wish but if you are successful in the random draw, you will only receive tickets for one date. You can read more about the live studio audience here.
The Blackpool Tower Ballroom episode of Strictly always brings the glitz and the glamour and reaching this part of the competition is the aim for many celebrities taking part. Strictly have also announced the return of some very popular themed nights.
Movie Week, Halloween Week and Musicals Week are all back this year which sees the celebrities dressed as movie stars, scary villains, and your favourite characters from the stage. For the first time this year there will also be a new special BBC 100 themed week, to mark 100 years of the BBC.
Celebrating 100 years of the BBC, the fun-filled new themed episode will see each of the couples take to the Strictly ballroom floor, either dancing to a theme tune from an iconic BBC programme or in tribute to one of the BBC’s most loved services. There will also be two dazzling professional routines, one dedicated to the BBC’s natural history programming and another that will see the professional dancers “crashing” some of the BBC’s flagship shows.
