Strictly Come Dancing fans "disappointed" to see professional dancers without partners

Fans of a popular BBC show were left disappointed after the line up for the new season was announced. On Friday, September 23, the Strictly Come Dancing fans found out the pairings for the upcoming season in a glitzy launch show, but some professional dancers have been left without partners.

In the show each of the 15 celebrity contestants met their professional dance partner before giving their first interview together. The show was hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkeman, but, due to there being 20 professional dancers this year, five were left without partners.

Professionals without partners will still appear in group dances over the season, whilst also helping out as backing dancers. Those sitting on the bench include Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Cameron Lombard, who only made his debut last year, reports Birmingham Live.

@BethanyFoden added: "So Neil and Luba don’t have partners… AGAIN."@Aura3107 fumed: "@bbcstrictly What have you got against Neil!? He should have had a celeb [crying emoji]."

@sparklystone commented: "Oh that’s sad Neil Jones didn’t get a #Strictly partner again." @brooklynd24 added: "No partner for Neil.

"A bit disappointed." And @hannahfun1 tweeted: "I say this every series but Neil & Luba deserved partners this year, the new pros shouldn't get celebs on their first season, Neil & Luba have been there for a long time and hardly ever get partners."
