STREETrave confirm key date as Ayr beach festival set to make its return

STREETrave will take over the Low Green again next year as they look to follow up a hugely successful debut festival on Ayr beach.

The electronic music pioneers will rock up to their spiritual home of the Ayr Pavilion for another Sunday of classics.

This year huge icons of the genre took to the stage with the likes of Inner City, DJ Roger Sanchez, Soul II Soul and Altern8 all rolling back the years.

The hugely successful show drew in 5,000 ravers - some of whom hadn't stepped foot in the STREETrave arena since the heyday of the Pavilion shows in the late 90s.

It followed on from Ewan McVicar's very own Pavilion Festival which saw the Ayr star take centre stage as 7,500 piled in just the night before.

After the festivals both Ewan and STREETrave organisers told how they would return next year.

And earlier this month Pavilion Festival announced to fans that they would return to the beach spot on Saturday, May 4.

STREETrave have now followed up that announcement and have confirmed they will return to the seaside on Sunday, May 6. The weekend will fall on the May Bank Holiday giving ravers another bumper weekend to enjoy.

STREETrave have given fans the chance to get their hands on pre-sale tickets and get access to line up announcements. Fans can sign up here.
