K-pop sensation Stray Kids head to town this week for their concert "Stray Kids 2ND World Tour Maniac", while Disney+ Hotstar Thailand might just boost its subscriber count with release of the BTS-related documentary J-Hope In The Box.
Stray Kids 2ND World Tour Maniac
Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani
The eight-member boy band Stray Kids are renowned for intense choreography and skilled rap techniques. Those were certainly on display earlier this year on Jan 7 in Bangkok at the Golden Disc Awards ceremony for South Korean music, when the group thrilled the crowd despite performing only three songs -- Super Board, Freeze and Case 143. The thrills will be multiplied on Feb 2 and 3 with the group performing upwards of 30 songs for each show. Concertgoers can expect to sing along with hits such as Give Me Your TMI, Maniac and Thunderous.
"Stray Kids 2ND World Tour Maniac" is held today and tomorrow. Tickets cost 2,500, 3500, 4,800, 5,500, 6,800, 7,000, 7,500 and 8,500 baht and are available at thaiticketmajor.com and 11 branches of Thai Ticket Major.
J-Hope In The Box
Disney+ Hotstar Thailand
Disney+ Hotstar Thailand has K-pop fans in its sights. After achieving success with the documentary Super Junior: The Last Man Standing last month, the platform has announced release of the behind-the-scenes documentary J-Hope In The Box set for Feb 17.
In a trailer for the documentary, BTS's J-Hope says: "People in the world do not know what kind of music J-Hope makes." The documentary also includes never-before-seen preparations for J-Hope's solo album, Jack In The Box.
J-Hope is known as BTS's "Sunshine" due to his bright personality, however, listeners were surprised to hear the dark tones as well as alternative rock music of his two singles More and Arson.
There also will be scenes from the album's listening party where J-Hope invited his colleagues in the music industry, and J-Hope's performance at 2022 Lollapalooza and the American music festival in Chicago.
