Millie Bobby Brown has announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi.
Millie, 19, has been dating Jake, 20, since June 2021, when they started appearing in each other's Instagram stories, but their captions suggested the pair were just friends. They made things 'Instagram official' in November 2021.
Today, Millie posted on her social media channels about their engagement with a black-and-white picture of the two of them embracing, and fans can clearly see the ring on her finger. The announcement has shocked some people, who claim they're too young to get married.

Millie is best known for role as Eleven in the Netflix series Stranger Things, and she started filming for the role back in 2015 when she was just 12. She's been in the public eye ever since, and has also starred in the Netflix films Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2.
Jake Bongiovi is the son of rockstar Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea. According to his Instagram bio, he's an "Actor/Producer/all around cool guy", but has said he has no wish to follow in his dad's footsteps and pursue a music career.
In her Instagram post announcing their engagement, Millie Bobby Brown said: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all", which is a quote from Taylor Swift's song 'Lover'. Her white dress in the picture left some speculating that the pair have even tied the knot.
Many fans were excited for the announcement. One person said: "OMG MILLIE CONGRATS" and another said: "wooo congratulations". However, others were concerned that 19 is too young to get married.
One person said: "MARRIED AT 19?!!" and another said: "??? YOU JUST A CHILD" but others jumped to her defence. One person said: "Some of the comments moaning she's "too young". It doesn't matter which age someone find their soulmate (as long as its legal). In the UK you can get married at 16. Stop sh*tting on other people's happiness because you don't have that yourself".
