Stranger steps in after spotting young mum stealing nappies and baby milk from Tesco

A good Samaritan stepped in after seeing a mother being questioned over the theft of baby essentials. Sophie Marie Bennett paid for the nappies and milk which the woman had been accused of stealing.

She told how she got involved after seeing the incident unfold at a Tesco store. Rather than turning a blind eye to what was going on she went to the young mum's aid, reports Birmingham Live.

And after paying for the items she told how the grateful woman cried and thanked her. Sophie, who runs Black Owned Birmingham, and supports a number of good causes told of the experience on Twitter and has since had more than 425,000 likes as well as being retweeted across the globe.
