Strandja Memorial Boxing: Narender enters super heavyweight quarter-finals

NEW DELHI: India's super heavyweight (+92kg) boxer Narender defeated Congo Gerlon of Ecuador in a split decision to book quater-final spot at the Strandja Memorial International Boxing Tournament on Wednesday.

The clash between Narender and Congo went down to the wire as the crowd was in anticipation till the last minute to find out about the winner. Both the boxers went toe to toe from the start of the bout and made calculative moves on their opponent.
