Organisers of the Strabane Lifford Half Marathon are urging the public to familiarise themselves with the traffic restrictions that will be in place to facilitate the cross border event on Sunday May 15th.

Over 1,000 runners will take to the roads for the return of the event that starts at Meetinghouse Street in Strabane at 9.30am with finishers arriving at the running track at the Melvin Sports Complex from 10.35am until around 1pm.

The event is being coordinated by Derry City and Strabane District Council in conjunction with Lifford Strabane AC and they have asked anyone travelling in the vicinity on Sunday to plan their journey.
