Stormy Daniels Testifies In Trial Involving Michael Cohen And Trump

Michael Cohen Former U.S. President Trump's civil fraud trial continues, in New York Michael Cohen Appears at supreme court

During the trial involving Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen, Stormy Daniels' lawyer, Clark Brewster, emphasized that Daniels had no personal relationship with Cohen, making his testimony less impactful. Brewster highlighted that Cohen's history of conflicting statements provided ample material for the defense to cross-examine him.

Daniels testified that she had no knowledge of the alleged falsified business records central to the case, framing her role as setting the context for Trump's team's actions to secure a non-disclosure agreement.

When asked about the potential for a not guilty verdict, Brewster expressed confidence in the evidence pointing to Trump's involvement in the NDA and subsequent cover-up. He dismissed the notion of reasonable doubt, asserting that Trump orchestrated the payment to Daniels through Cohen.

Regarding Daniels' feelings post-verdict, Brewster stated that Daniels had no regrets about coming forward and cooperating with the authorities. He downplayed concerns about Daniels' safety post-trial, acknowledging the unpredictability of reactions from Trump's supporters.

Addressing political implications, Brewster noted that Daniels' primary concern was her safety rather than Trump's potential re-election. He emphasized the importance of supporting individuals like Daniels who may face threats due to their involvement in high-profile cases.

In a separate interview, Daniels' partner, Barrett Blade, expressed concerns about potential outcomes and hinted at the possibility of leaving the country depending on the verdict. Brewster clarified that Blade is not Daniels' husband but her partner.

As the trial nears its conclusion, Brewster underscored the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of all involved parties, hoping that once the case concludes, everyone can move forward without fear of reprisal.
