Two storms are set to batter parts of Wales this week, with Storm Dudley being quickly followed by Storm Eunice.
Winds of up to 100mph are being forecast for Friday after the Met Office upgraded its weather warning to amber. You can get more details here.
Strong winds of up to 80mph brought by Storm Dudley could also pose a danger to life on Wednesday, forecasters have warned. Follow live updates here as the storm hits Wales.
High winds have already caused problems on the roads with the being M48 Severn Crossing being closed.
Met Office forecasters have said the conditions are caused by Storm Dudley which will move across the northern half of the nation from Wednesday night into Thursday morning, and Storm Eunice which follows.
Here is a detailed forecast for the coming days:
Wednesday afternoon
A Storm Dudley yellow weather warning for a large part of north Wales starts at 1pm.
The warning states: "After a windy day, westerly winds are expected to increase further later on Wednesday afternoon and evening across southern Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern England, then parts of Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia.
"There is still some uncertainty in the timing and location of the strongest winds but there is the potential for inland wind gusts of 60-70 mph in places. The worst of the winds will ease through Thursday morning, though remaining generally windy during the day."
Met Office weather charts are showing gusts of 54mph at pm in Aberstwyth at 4pm , and 52mph in Cardiff and Bangor, and 51mph in Swansea at 5pm today.
Wednesday evening
The Met Office weather maps are showing winds dropping slightly from around 6pm.
The Met Office forecast for Wales says: "Heavy rain and strong winds for a time this evening, but turning drier overnight with scattered showers and clear spells. Staying windy. Minimum temperature 3C."
Thursday morning
There will be a short break between the two storms on Thursday.
The Met Office forecast for Wales says: "Turning less windy on Thursday with sunny spells and some scattered showers, mainly in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 9C."
Friday
The Met Office forecast for Wales says: "Storm Eunice will bring severe gales on Friday with heavy rain and hill snow. Turning less windy overnight, before more wet and windy weather arrives over the weekend."
The amber warning is in place from 3am until 9pm, and says: "Extremely strong winds may develop over southwest England early on Friday, before spreading north and east during the day. Whilst there is still some uncertainty in the track of Eunice, there is an increasing likelihood of widespread inland wind gusts of 60-70 mph and up to 80 mph in a few places.
"Around coasts of west Wales and southwest England, gusts of 90 or possibly even 100 mph are possible. Winds are expected to ease across western areas through the afternoon, and eastern areas during the evening."
The weather maps are showing wind gusts of 65mph in Aberystwyth between 9am and 12pm , 64mph with heavy in Bangor at 12pm , and around 62mph in Cardiff between 9am and 12pm .
During the afternoon it will remain blustery with winds speeds of around 51mph at 3pm in Cardiff and 38mph by 6pm .
Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire will see gusts of 68mph around 9am , 63mph around 12pm , and 41mph by 6pm .
