Three people in cars have been killed by trees or debris in the first UK deaths caused by Eunice, one of the worst storms to hit the UK in a generation, which brought widespread damage and chaos.
A woman in her 30s died when a tree fell on a car in north London, and a driver in his 20s was killed when a large tree fell and crushed his pick-up truck in Hampshire.
