Storm Eunice: Family 'shaken' after roof crashes into kitchen and destroys garden

A family was left “shaken” after the roof of a nearby care home smashed through their kitchen window and destroyed their garden.

Martin Small and his daily from Ernesettle, Plymouth, were sitting down for breakfast at 10am when the roof of the River View care home came crashing through into their house.

Amazingly, no one was hurt in the incident, PlymouthLive reported , one of a huge number as the UK is battered by Storm Eunice.
