Dozens of busy rail services from Edinburgh have been postponed for most of the morning due to violent weather caused by Storm Dudley.
ScotRail announced the suspension of all services between the capital and other Scottish cities including Aberdeen, Dundee and Perth until at least 10am on Thursday morning.
Trains between the city and Glasgow Queen Street remain open, but those heading to Glasgow Central are advised to seek an alternative route.

Trains between Edinburgh and Fife have also been temporarily called off by the operator until conditions ease.
Meanwhile, those heading to Dunblane terminate and start back from Stirling, ScotRail announced.
It comes after ScotRail was forced to suspend all services after 4pm due to an amber Met Office warning for inclement conditions.
Strong gusts battered much of Scotland on Wednesday, forcing travel infrastructure to virtually shut down.
Winds are expected to break briefly on Thursday morning ahead of further disruption as a result of Storm Eunice.
A ScotRail statement read: "We know the impact that the earlier withdrawal of services had on customers but it was a necessary step to ensure the safety of our staff and customers due to the severe weather.
The strength of the winds has damaged infrastructure, and as expected, debris and trees have been blown onto tracks, damaging equipment such as overhead electric power lines and signals.
"Disruption on some lines is expected to continue until mid-morning on Thursday.
"Further significant weather is being forecast for most of Scotland on Friday (February 18). Our weather specialists are monitoring the conditions.
"If you have to travel over the next few days, please check your journey before setting off. "
