The North East has been battered by Storm Dudley causing traffic and travel disruption across the region.
Winds of up to 80mph have pulled trees down and power cables and forced sites and landmarks to temporarily close their doors.
An Amber warning for wind is still in place until midnight of Wednesday 16th.
A yellow weather warning for wind remains for Thursday and Friday as Storm Eunice rolls in bringing more disruption.

on Wednesday night there are currently 2,500 premises without power across the region.
The largest of these power cuts is in Durham with over 1,800 premises affecting. This power outage is in DH1, DH6, DH7, DL14, DL16 and is expected to be fixed at 12pm on Thursday.
Other areas currently suffering outages are South Shields, Hartlepool, Cambo, Kielder, Alnwick and Hexham (subject to change)
A wagon was blown over on the A696 between Monkridge Farm and Monkridge Hall up in Northumberland.
The A66 has been closed in both directions between the A67 at Bowes near Barnard Castle and the A6 at Penrith to high-sided and vulnerable vehicles due to strong winds.
The B6296 in County Durham is closed in both ways between Droverhouse Lane (Lanchester) and The Brown Horse Hotel (Tow Law) due to unstable trees.
This is affecting traffic between Lanchester and Wolsingham.
The Metro service is partly suspended in two places as a result of damage from the severe winds.
There are currently no trains in either directions between North Shields and Tynemouth after a wall collapsed at a Tynemouth bridge. Metro tickets are being accepted on the Go North East Service 1 and Arriva service 306.
The Shields Ferry services is also running at a reduced service.
Due a fallen tree in the Tyne Dock area, the service is suspended between Pelaw and South Shields in both directions. The Go North East bus service number 27 is accepting Metro tickets between Heworth and South Shields, and Go North East service 26 between Jarrow and South Shields.
There is also significant rail disruption on the way with rail services including LNER, Northern and CrossCountry urging people not to travel on Friday 18th due to high winds forecast due to Storm Eunice.
