Storm Corrie to batter UK as Met Office issues weather warning

Met Office Storm Corrie United Kingdom Corrie Scotland

A second storm has been named by forecasters - with gusts of wind reaching 70mph and heavy rainfall expected .

Storm Corrie will bring strong winds eastwards from Scotland into England from Sunday, according to the Met Office.

Corrie follows on the heels of Storm Malik, which battered Greater Manchester and the country with severe gales on Saturday, reports The Mirror.
