A stolen dog appears to be very happy after police stopped the car she was being transported in and took her home. The female pooch was allegedly robbed from her family in Scotland almost five months ago - but was miraculously recovered by officers during a routine traffic stop on Monday.
In pictures shared by Tayside Police, the collie looks delighted to be safe again, and can be seen attempting to lick the face of one officer as she is transported to the station. The force confirmed the pet has now been reunited with her delighted owners after a long time apart.

Another beloved dog has been returned to her owner after being missing for seven painful years.
Sprocker spaniel Flash, 11, was reunited with heartbroken Emma Drewett, 49, after being rescued from a breeder.
Gamekeeper Emma said the wait was a "living hell" not knowing if her much-loved pet was safe, or even alive.
Flash was stolen in 2015, with Emma and her teenage son Luke fearing they would never see their pup again.
But incredibly, Flash was found by a kind dog lover almost 200 miles away from Emma's home in Little Marlowe, Bucks.
