Stolen boats led Vic police to drugs, guns

Police say they have dismantled an organised crime network in Victoria. (AAP)

A stolen boat has led Victorian police to more than $1.8 million in allegedly stolen property and drugs, along with the dismantling of what police say was an organised crime network.

Investigations began after two fishing boats worth more than $100,000 each were allegedly stolen from Williamstown in Melbourne's southwest in separate incidents in February and March this year.
