Ben Stokes says he is desperate to stop England's downhill slide but feels it is too early to begin laying the groundwork for the 2027 Ashes.

It took only 11 days of Test cricket for England to blow their chances of reclaiming the Ashes, with a 3-2 series loss the best possible result for the tourists should they win the fifth match that begins on Sunday.
