Stocks Undercut by Tech Stock Weakness

The S&P 500 Index ($SPX) (SPY) today is up +0.12%, the Dow Jones Industrials Index ($DOWI) (DIA) is up +0.20%, and the Nasdaq 100 Index ($IUXX) (QQQ) is down -0.27%.

Stock indexes today are mixed.  An increase in M&A activity today provided support for stocks after Sonoco Products agreed to buy Eviosys from KPS Capital Partners for about $3.9 billion.  Also, RXO Inc. agreed to buy Uniter Parcel Service’s asset-light freight brokerage business Coyote Logistics for more than $1 billion.
