Stocks in news: PB Fintech, LIC, Trent, Ola Electric, and Cipla

Markets traded volatile on Wednesday and ended on a flat note amid mixed cues. After a steady start, the Nifty remained under corrective pressure for most of the session. Technically, analysts say the Nifty continued to consolidate above the crucial support zone of 24,350–24,400, indicating that the broader bullish structure remains intact.

In today's trade, shares of PB Fintech, LIC, Trent, Ola Electric, Cipla among others will be in focus due to various news developments and first quarter results.

PB Fintech

PB Fintech reported a 92% year-on-year (YoY) rise in profit after tax for the June quarter, helped by strong growth in insurance premium, higher operating revenue and better margins. The Policybazaar parent posted consolidated profit after tax of Rs 163 crore in Q1FY27, compared with a PAT margin of 6% in the same quarter last year. PAT margin improved to 9% in the June quarter.

LIC, Trent, Samvardhana, Hero MotoCorp

Shares of LIC, Trent, Samvardhana and Hero MotoCorp will be in focus as the companies will announce their first quarter results.

Mindspace REIT

Mindspace Business Parks REIT has reported a 27.8% year-on-year rise in net operating income (NOI) at Rs 788 crore for the quarter ended June, driven by healthy leasing activity, higher rentals and the addition of new assets.

ONGC

Ola Electric Mobility Ltd on Wednesday announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Axis Energy outlining the potential deployment of up to 20 GWh of battery energy storage systems by 2032.

Cipla

Drugmaker Cipla and plant-based protein manufacturer Rocket India have announced fresh investments worth Rs 300 crore in Karnataka, while alternative asset manager Blackstone has expressed interest in investing in data centres, renewable energy and fibre-optic infrastructure in the state.
