The Eagles improved to 10-2 in season openers since 2010 with a 38-35 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon at Ford Field.
Nick Sirianni is now 2-0 in regular season openers and he has the pulse of his team after a second straight summer of reduced hitting during training camp.
Philadelphia led by as many as 17 points in the second half before Detroit came roaring back and pulled within a field goal of a huge upset.
The Eagles had 455 yards of total offense and four different players scored rushing touchdowns with Miles Sanders leading the way with 96 yards and a touchdown, marking the first time he got into the end zone since Week 16 of the 2020 season.
With preparation for the Vikings set to begin, here’s your Week 1 stock report.
Stock Down -- Avonte Maddox
In the first game of a new deal, Maddox had three total tackles, struggled in coverage, missed a few tackles, and was among the lowest graded Eagles against Detroit.
Stock up -- Jalen Hurts
Hurts found a way to make play with his arm and legs, totally almost 350-yards in total offense against a feisty Lions defense.
.@Eagles @JalenHurts rescued so many plays b/c of breakdowns up front. No one wants to see the QB run 17X! No one is serving that kind of punishment. Lots to clean up before home opener. #FlyEaglesFly #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/RYY4tM1hbc

Stock Down -- Jonathan Gannon
It was only Week 1 of the regular season, but Jonathan Gannon has to find a way to change the perception of his defensive scheme.
The Eagles play with the mindset of keeping everything in front of them while not giving up the big play. Such a game plan is null and void if you allow 144-yards rushing to D’Andre Swift while surrendering 35 points.
Stock up -- Marcus Epps
Epps had ten total tackles, one tackle for loss, and an intense presence that’ll help the Eagles as the season progresses.
Another guy on defense that really flashed for me in this game was #Eagles S Marcus Epps
Outstanding read on Play 2 in this cutup for a PBU on 3rd down #FlyEaglesFly @MEpps_6 pic.twitter.com/akevaahnN6

Stock up -- Kyzir White
White had five tackles, one tackle for loss, and one pass defended and played a huge role in James Bradberry’s pick-six.
Another #Eagles newcomer really had a nice debut, LB Kyzir White (@KyzirWhite8).
Run game / Pass game he flashed constantly. Here were some of my favorite plays #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/kvfmZX0ZaF

Stock Up -- A.J. Brown
The Eagles gave Brown $100 million, which can cause pressure and uncertainty for a player.
It’s not about the 10-catches for 155-yards but more about Brown’s presence in the offense.
#Eagles WR AJ Brown had a record-setting day on Sunday and won at all three levels of the field.
Quick / Intermediate / Deep … didn't matter. @1kalwaysopen_
came through with a huge dayCareer-high 155 yards the most ever for a #FlyEaglesFly player in their debut pic.twitter.com/QU2ZAbzPa5

Stock Down -- K'Von Wallace
Wallace made the 53-man roster and was active ahead of Reed Blankenship.
Wallace played the least amount of snaps of all the defensive backs and could see himself as the odd man out with more roster moves coming.
