Steven Naismith says the future at Hearts looks very bright after he oversaw a goal spree in the club's B-team.
The former Rangers star is in charge of the Jambos' kids, who have racked up a whopping fifteen goals in just three games after a tough star to their campaign. Hearts B triumphed over Dalbeattie Star by four goals to nil at the weekend, after thumping nine past Edinburgh Uni and beating Gretna 2-1 at the start of the month.
Naismith believes that form is a sign of things to come, and says Robbie Neilson's first team will soon benefit from the red-hot talent in the Gorgie academy. He told the Edinburgh Evening News: “I feel as a group we have learned and in the last three performances you can see we are progressing. We have won them all, but they have been different kind of wins. Against Gretna we had to really defend our lead, but the other games we have played some very good attacking football.
