Former Aston Villa forward Gabby Agbonlahor believes Ashley Young would solve Steven Gerrard's left-back problem against Leeds United.
Lucas Digne is set for a spell on the sidelines and will miss Sunday's trip to Elland Road, after a foot injury forced him to withdraw from the France squad during international duty.
Villa do have Swedish left-back Ludwig Augustinsson, who joined on loan from Sevilla in the summer, but Agbonlahor thinks his former teammate should be given the nod instead.
"I think he might look at Ashley Young at left-back, [Calum] Chambers at right-back with [Ezri] Konsa and [Tyrone] Mings in the middle," Agbonlahor told Football Insider.

He added: "That's the best available defence. They've got enough cover there, Aston Villa. That's why you have big squads, so you are not hurt when you've got injuries like this. Aston Villa will be fine when [Matty] Cash and Digne are out."
Augustinsson is yet to feature for Villa despite being named on the bench in each of their seven Premier League games.
Young started at right back in Villa's 1-0 win over Southampton before the international break after replacing the injured Cash from the bench in their draw against Man City a fortnight earlier.
